Whaaaa? Paint? Car deals? Do go on…
BEHR paint is manufactured by the BEHR Process Corporation out of Santa Ana, California. It is exclusively sold at the The Home Depot in North America. The thing is this: Home Depot stores are run by The Home Depot Corporation and the parent company sets the price. That means you can go into any Home Depot from Miami Florida to Portland Oregon and pick up that same product for the same price.
On the other hand, every new car dealer might say the brand on the front of the building, but it always is in addition some other word or words. Paragon Honda or Lexus of Massapequa or John Elway'a Crown Toyota. Dealerships are privately owned franchises, and are not bound by the factory to set a specific price for the vehicles they carry. The factory will set an M.S.R.P. (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price), but each owner or owners of a store can sell cars for whatever profit, or loss, they deem necessary.
*of course dealers don’t want to lost money, but they will sometimes for the greater good. Subject of another post someday…
And this brings us around to the topic of jumping on a special deal. We have multiple connections with different dealerships and shop them all to find you the best price. Sometimes we will find a dealer who is willing to give us a special price on their in stock inventory. That means that we can pass those savings on to you. But it also means that when the inventory is depleted, so is the deal. Of course we can always get the same car that you want at another dealer, but remember: different store, probably different pricing.
This is also while we will never advertise a price for some crazy deal and then write ONLY 2 LEFT!!!. Superior Leaseway does not bait and switch. If we have only two of anything, we will call clients that we know are in the market.
Isn’t it refreshing to hear that someone in the car business is thinking of YOUR best interests?
